FISHERIES

Fisheries science ties into many of our projects including coastal marine fisheries inventories in many harbors, ports and nearshore waters to estuarine breaching events with species passage and freshwater stream surveys. We have completed many Essential Fish Habitat Studies (EFH) for regulatory compliance in Southern California. SixSci has completed trawl surveys to identify species presence/abundance, tissue chemistry in all of the Ports in Southern California.  We have also recently completed a project tracking Southern California Steelhead (Oncorhynchus mykiss) through eDNA on multiple known watersheds.
